About Jul of the Light

Hello dear ones,

My name is Julia Nina Dank. I was named after my Grandmother Nina, a survivor of the Holocaust and Matriarch of my Paternal lineage. Some know me as Jul of the Light, some just as Jul, and some as Jul Ma.

I am a first-generation-American, devotee of the Divine Feminine, mindfully-moving Yogi, and multi-faceted space-holder. My mission is to support my communities in restoring Wholeness for Body, Mind, and Spirit, through experiences that connect us with the deeper parts of the Self.

I deeply understand the journey of reclaiming one’s relationship with the Body, as a result of both Chronic Pain and Trauma. When I was 12 years old, I went to my first Yoga class as part of my pain management program for the progressive Scoliosis and Kyphosis diagnosis I was, and still am, navigating. From that very first class at a Traditional Ashtanga studio in Doylestown, PA, my Yogic journey began.

My personal path, and education, have equipped me as a compassionate guide for the tender journey of healing. I am a believer in the innate healing ability we all hold within, and am lit up by opportunities where I can shine a Light upon this in others.

My lineage of Eastern European mysticism, and deep reverence for Earth-based Spirituality have led me toward my path as an Intuitive Practitioner of Energy Healing and Channeled Guidance.

My Ethos…

Through integrating “Darkness” with “Light”, we find beauty in non-duality and oneness. Dissolving shame through reconnection with the Body, we allow lost pieces of ourselves to return home. Through activation of our inner radiant Light force, we alchemize edge into growth and compassion. We do not bypass the Darkness in pursuit of the Light; instead, we understand that all seeds grow in the dark wombs of the Great Mother. We honor the Darkness in depth, and in turn find our Light expanding evermore.
